Virtual Reality Discussion: Local company improves patient experience with VR

Ryan Cameron will discuss the Electric Puppets project that has created new opportunities in the medical technology space. His current project is combining sophisticated motion capture, virtual reality, eye tracking, and high end animated content to make a better patient experience and more accurate data for analysis and diagnostics.
Ryan Cameron - Ryan has been a technology executive since 1999, and a programmer since he was 8 years old, except for an 8 year hiatus in the entertainment industry as an actor and musician, Ryan has been working in technology primarily. Ryan has built training platforms used by 3000 Apple employees, 70,000 Deloitte employees and 150,000 Catapillar employees. Most recently Ryan started Electric Puppets, a VR company offering opportunities to improve medical research, diagnostics and treatment and since november has won 3 grants from the province of Nova Scotia to pursue work in partnership with the IWK Children's hospital and Dalhousie Clinical Vision Science.
