Kootenay Moving Pictures aims to annually present films being made in the Kootenays as well as inspiring films from afar. It is a project of Siloën Daley, Creative Director of the Animation Festival of Halifax. Siloën grew up in the Kootenays then studied and practiced art in Halifax for close to 30 years before returning to her childhood home.
